Dina Panchang is a daily Hindu panchang, festival and muhurat calendar for 155 cities. Every date and time on the site is calculated for the city you choose, not copied from a printed almanac.
Dina Panchang gives you the five limbs of the day (tithi, nakshatra, yoga, karana and vaar) together with sunrise and sunset, auspicious and inauspicious timings, a monthly calendar and the year's festivals and vrat dates.
Every value is computed with Swiss Ephemeris using the Lahiri (Chitrapaksha) ayanamsa, for the latitude, longitude and time zone of the city you pick. The site supports 155 cities.
A festival or vrat falls on the day whose tithi is running at local sunrise, unless its rule asks for another moment such as midnight or Pradosh Kaal. Because sunrise differs from place to place, a date can shift by a day between two cities.
